Choose a payment already recorded on an event. The event balance uses only the amount applied to the booking. Saving a fee breakdown does not record a new payment.

Customer surcharge already collected on a supported receipt

This records a surcharge already collected through Square’s supported in-person or full-payment invoice flow. Website checkout and Square Online API payments do not get a surcharge here. Credit cards only; debit and prepaid cards are excluded.

I checked the receipt and verified the credit-card surcharge and its disclosure. I verified the separate sales tax on the surcharge against this event’s tax treatment.
